Shopping under cover

Welcome to undercover shopper, Nigeria's premier custom service blog.

There is a slogan that says, "The customer is King," another one says, "the customer is always right." But as with a lot of things in Nigeria, these are just cliches; empty statements without meaning. The customer, most times, is treated shabbily and he is usually not able to do anything about it.

Well, that is about to change.

My friends and I have created this blog to bring awareness about customers' rights and to act as a whistleblower on companies and organizations with lousy customer service.
We will be reporting on the quality of service received at merchants' outlets, good or bad. We will give names, and addresses and times of poor service. And when the service is good we will also say so.

We will pick weekly winners of our customer service Star of Service (SOS), and we will also have a monthly "Close Your Shop" (CYS) winner, or should I say loser?

Feel free to report any organizations and public officials that violate the customer code.




Let's crown the customer king again
